Bus Information for SM Early Childhood Education Center 

• Who is eligible for bus service to & from Shawnee Mission Early Childhood Education Center (SMECEC)?  Students who have an IEP that includes bus transportation are eligible for free bus transportation to and from school.
• How do parents set up bus transportation for their student?  Parents need to contact their child's teacher to put in the request for transportation, if the student is eligible.
• Who do I contact if there needs to be a change in bus service?  Parents should contact their child's teacher who will then enter the changes.  It can take up to a week to implement a change if it means a new bus or route.
• Who do I contact if my child is sick so not going to ride the bus?  Call the office at your child's school.  913-993-2600.
• How do parents know if a bus is going to be delayed?  Parents will use the app to track their child's bus. (more info to be updated soon.)
